In 2008, Nicolas Pellier founded the Kepler company after spending eight years designing, calculating and developing innovative products and solutions both in motor racing and in space-flight mechanics. From the start, the company focused on R & D and achieved its first successes: the development and manufacture of a reconfigurable SCOT space telescope for Thales Alenia Space, the creation of a flexible space cardan joint, which was patented in 2009.
After these early successes, Kepler focused its development from 2010 on special machines and complex operations in mechanical engineering for the nuclear, offshore (oil & gas and renewable marine energies) and aerospace industries. The company conducts large-scale projects with major clients that include manufacturing and onsite installation phases thanks to a network of 40 European partners selected and audited by Kepler.
Kepler Industries S.r.l based in Pitesti (Romania) was created at the end of 2014 and is growing quickly on all industries. KEPLER has created an engineering office in Romania with several mechanical engineers due to customer’s needs and hired workers with a strong background in manufacturing including 2 manufacturing cost controllers which give us more efficiency and reactivity.
Wishing to maintain control of complete projects and due to customers request, KEPLER has bought an engineering office in Hô-Chi-Minh, in Vietnam (35 Engineers) specialized in mechanical analysis. (Static/Dynamic, linear/nonlinear, fatigue, creep, earthquake, thermomechanical, thermal, Interaction fluid/structure, Multiphysics coupling, etc.)
